The Original owner was a friend of my best friend and That's how I found out about it and scooped it up... He told us that it has NEVER been driven in the rain and it was always garage kept! This GTO is completely original from the factory/dealership and untouched and unadulterated. The first run of the Pontiac GTO debuted in 1964 and is widely considered to have ignited the 1960s muscle car era. Year after year the GTO saw performance upgrades and improvements. With its redesign in 1968 the GTO was selected Motor Trends 'Car of the Year'. With a reputation as the first muscle car the GTO name has become cemented as legend. After the GTO's departure in the 70s, the world went without it for decades until the car was redesigned in the form you see here. Initially equipped with a 5.7L LS1 V8, the same engine found in the 2004 Chevrolet Corvette, the GTO busted onto the scene with a true performance edge on the competition. With America's lust for horsepower, the engine was upgraded to the LS2 V8 for 2004-2006. These legendary engines put down very impressive numbers of 400hp and 400 lb ft of torque. This one owner (officially two since I've had it for a couple months registered to me) Torrid Red 2006 GTO represents the last and best of these unique vehicles. With just over 6,400 actual miles and the state of the gorgeous black leather interior testifies to this. The impressive LS2 power plant is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and independent rear suspension that gives it some real handling ability. The previous owner recently installed a new battery. Not only am I selling this rare (Sport Apearance Package) GTO for less then the only other two ultra low mileage GTO's on ebay, but mine is far more rare with some estimates of only 1500 full "SAP" package GTO's from 2005-2006 and this GTO has the factory original window sticker and the dealer window addendum to prove that this car left the showroom floor with this Super rare package which includes the enhanced front air dam, special side skirts and rear bumper cover, unique rear spoiler, custom duel exhaust tips and mufflers, and upgraded wheels (original wheels are in boxes and included with the sale), as well as the recessed front grilles... the overall appearance is much more aggressive and sportier overall. Through some research on some online GTO forums I found out that the "SAP" package was originally supposed to be sold as "THE JUDGE" with the LS2 while the standard model was to be sold as a base GTO with the LS1 but before 2005 production started they decided to scrap the idea and produce all GTO's with the LS2 and since they had already started to make "THE JUDGE" body kit, they decided to sell it as a dealer option as the "Sport Appearance Package" or "SAP" roughly only about 1500 of the "SAP" GTO's were sold over two years, so just how rare this 2006, 6spd, Torrid red model is would be up to you to figure out... but I can assure you there aren't many and being this one is so well preserved it would be a great long term investment as it will no doubt be one of the most desirable as time goes on. Selling my 2004 GTO. This car is in good shape since it’s been my daily driver for the past few years. The car is pretty much rust-free as it was parked during the winters most of its life. This is a good fun daily driver. I’m only selling it because I just purchased a new vehicle. The good:New clutch and slave cylinder, GM Performance ASA Cam, LS7 springs, K&N cold air intake, Texas Speed long tube headers, Stainless 3” works full exhaust. Struts and strut bearings. The car was tuned with HP tuners (I’ll also include the cal file) It idles and sounds great and isn’t too loud. All of these mods have approximately 15k on them. The car runs and drives good with no issues. The car also has a 2005 carbon works hood, which looks good, not quite OEM quality. I also just recently installed new Tires, Brakes and Rotors, Alternator, Power Steering Pump, and Radiator. The Bad:The AC does not work, it needs a condenser. There are a few small spots in the front seats where the seams are coming apart. These can be easily sewn. The car was also resprayed a few years ago and at the edges of the weather stripping you can see the paint lines. It was painted the same color, so you can only notice close up. There is a scratch on the rear bumper and the head liner is starting to come down. The rear seats have a spot where a patch was sewn on the upper leather, just behind the rear headrests. All of the imperfections are pretty easy to address and are in no way serious.

Hi you are bidding on a very nice and rare Barbados blue gto that has a manual transmission. Sorry for the bad photos. It just rained when the pictures where taken and the car is dirty. You are more than welcome to come out and inspect the car before buying. I am selling because i have way to many cars and need to downsize. I have only driven this car less than a 1000 miles since owning it. I bought it for my wife to drive but with kids, it is just easier for her to drive the suv or a 4 door car... So, i am just going to get rid of it. The car has a short throw shifter installed. Also it has upgraded 17inch larger size rims on it. With BRAND NEW TIRES The car will come with a set of used headers and the stock 16 inch rims too. Headers where never installed on the car.. It also has a k&n air filter kit installed. There are only 2 small dings that are tiny and i cant get them to show up on a camera picture. But they would be able to be removed by a paintless dent remover company for cheap. Also, there is a small crack in the front driver side fog light, "new ones are 40 bucks and easy to replace" and it also looks like it must have hit the bottom of the driver side mirror and cracked that too as in the picture.. It is a tiny tear, and i just noticed it today when taking pictures... Inside is very nice, there was a repaired spot on the driver seat as shown in the picture, it is not as noticeable in person. the picture makes it look much worse. Runs perfect and is very fun to drive. The manual works amazing and the car has all kinds of get up and go. I also put in a new windshield and replaced some front suspension stuff as well when we got it. The original one had a small hairline crack in it. So it is now perfect.Sold as is no returns.
